There's Magick in the Kitchen

When I’m not in a rush, I love to cook! It’s almost like a moving meditation to get completely absorbed in the kitchen...

The glorious scents, the interesting textures and feelings… the sounds that undoubtedly make me nostalgic, recalling memories from childhood and cooking with special loved ones... the beautiful creations we eventually complete, and the variety of flavors that bring a smile!

And of course the opportunity for a little kitchen Witch Magick is always there! 

Speak your intentions while making your recipes—bless your food with love and gratitude—choose ingredients, when possible, that dance and correlate with your magic, such as adding honey to a dish to help sweeten somebody (who’ll be eating it) up! ❤️

Be creative, be joyful, and mostly, BE PRESENT. 🔥

That way, you’ll really take in the whole experience, engaging all of your senses, and fill yourself fully and truly: your whole mind, body, and spirit!💫

Crystal of the week~ Black Tourmaline

Black Tourmaline is one of my favorite crystals for abolishing fear, draining energy, and negativity!

It is a potent tool for spiritual cleansing and, in my opinion, one of the best stones for Empaths to work with. 

It works to alleviate fear and push out anxiety. It also battles against despondency and depression, which can help clear the way for more joy to flow in. 

This crystal is excellent for shielding against any kind of psychic attack or energy drain. It helps to transform stagnant energy into a lighter vibration. 

It purifies and cleanses its user and their space from negative energy and the issues associated with it. It’s a near perfect crystal to utilize with any mystical or meditative/shamanic workings. 

Black Tourmaline will help ground you in a way that is potent yet not heavy. This crystal provides solid, protective energy and will assist in any type of warding or protection magic with it shielding vibrations. 

As the seasons come closer to shifting, sometimes it stirs up energies that can create some anxious feelings. If you’re sensitive to that, like me, give this crystal a try for a little extra help!🖤

Crystal of the week~Aventurine

The full moon is here in less than a week and since full moons are connected with wishes...

I thought it was a perfect time to chat about one of my favorite crystals for wishes and manifestation—Aventurine!

This pretty, green crystal has strong Earth energy associations.  Its connection with the natural world will help you feel more attuned to nature which can improve your psychic health and strength.

Aventurine’s earthy energy can also attract abundance, prosperity, and money to its wearer/user. It is a potent stone of Luck, manifesting, and wish-fulfillment.

It has a soothing energy, which is very beneficial to those suffering from anxiety, fear, or feelings of restlessness.

This is also a fantastic stone for healing tension and upset and promoting peace. The soothing energy effects not just you but anyone around you.

Aventurine is a powerful tool of the heart chakra, and clears blockages from it, meaning, it stabilizes our ability to communicate and create emotional bonds with others.

It is also a fantastic crystal for improving your relationships: familial, romantic, professional, and interpersonal.

I will definitely be adding this crystal to my full moon magick!
